Register Early for a Discount - up to 1st of June 30th, 2008, it will be €20 discount, after that it will be full price - fees on the forms are for today and will be updated at the appropriate time.
Financial Assistance may be available for delegates of Societies in developing countries.- applications now closed.
Last booking date for Hotels: June 1, 2008. It may be possible to book after that date but cannot be guaranteed. As the event has limited capacity it is advisable to book as soon as possible.
Cancellation
policy for the Congress and Youth Hostel:
Cancellation before 31st March 2008 - we charge 50 EUR processing
fee
Cancellation after 31st March 2008 - 50 % refund
Cancellation after 1st July 2008 - no refund is possible
In case you indicate another person participating in your place, we
charge 10 EUR processing fee, regardless when you cancel.

Accommodation is from Dinner on Sunday 27th July to Breakfast on Saturday 3rd August, 2008. Check-in and check out times may vary with each hotel/hostel - join the ivu-congress group to request more details.
The
Congress Registration (lectures etc); food (lunch/dinner
with Gala Dinner on the Friday), and Youth Hostel Accommodation
(6 nights plus vegan breakfast); Day Tours, can each be
booked separately, or as a package, via the Congress organisers.
Hotels must be booked separately via the Dresden
Tourist Board. (see booking forms for details)
If you want to stay before or after the Congress at one of the hotels please see the Accommodation page and make your own (careful!) calculations about the cost.
For attendance/meals by the day or cheap arrangements for students/young people please ask the organisers via the ivu-congress group.
Note:
the prices quoted may have to change slightly according to any circumstances
which may arise.
The organiser, Vegetarier-Bund Deutschlands e.V.(VEBU), cannot accept
any liability, in case the congresshas to be cancelled due to natural
catastrophies,terrorist attacks, or any similar act of providence.

Email + Bank Transfer Payment - note: this is NOT an online payment by credit card. You can send all the details by email, but you will then have to send the money by bank transfer, see below.
If you wish to stay in the Youth Hostel then this can be booked on the above form.
If you wish to stay in one of the Hotels you must book that separately, either via the Dresden Tourist Board / IVU Congress website (with credit card); or by using one of the print/post forms below.

the above form by email, then there are two postal options (to
assist in completing the printed forms you may wish to print out this
page with the Booking
Fees):
Complete this registration form by typing the details on your screen - then print it (2 pages A4) and post it to the address given on the form, then send the money by bank transfer.
If you wish to stay in the Youth Hostel then this can be booked on the above form.
Hotel Room Reservation - if you wish to stay in a hotel you will also need to type-then-print (2 pages A4) this form and post it separately to the Dresden Tourist Board. Payment by Credit Card.
Print this form (PDF 3 pages A4) - then fill it in by hand and post the sections to the addresses given (includes registrations and hotels), sending the money as directed.

Note 1: we would
prefer you to use option 3 rather than 4 because we get a typed form
which is easier to read than handwriting.
However, if you have a problem with option 3 then please do use the
4th form but write clearly!
Note 2: Payment
by check/cheque will not be accepted due to substantial international
bank charges.
Bank Transfers (to the Congress Organisers, NOT for Hotels)
For any of options 2-4 above you can send your payment by wiretransfer - bank transfer - it is quick and safe. Note that the sender will also have to pay something for this facility. If you wish to use this option here are the details:
