VEGAN STEAMED BROWN RICE WITH CHICKPEAS AND LOTUS SEEDS
We often overindulge our stomachs with fatty and greasy meals. Rather than that, you may alter the flavor with light meals that provide the body with vitality and energy.
Vegan Steamed Brown Rice with Chickpeas and Lotus Seeds is an excellent option. Brown rice is a complete grain made up of bran and germ. These offer fiber, a variety of vitamins and minerals, and are much more nutritious than white rice. When cooked with chickpeas and lotus seeds, this meal assists the body in reducing the risk of certain digestive, stomach, and rectum illnesses.

PREPARATION
-
Brown Rice: If you are going to cook brown rice, soak it for at least two hours beforehand since brown rice is very hard. Other varieties of brown rice need just washing and draining.
-
Chickpeas: Because chickpeas are dry beans, they must be soaked for at least two hours; alternatively, you may soak the rice overnight.
-
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Place the brown rice, chickpeas, and lotus seeds in a large cooking pot and bring them to a boil. Add 400ml of water to the pot (about 2 cups). Cook the rice in a rice cooker as usual until it is nearly done, stirring the rice constantly and you're done.
-
Serve with rice and sesame salt as the main meal, or combine rice with other vegetarian dishes for a delectable combination of flavors.
Notes:
