Preparing the braising sauce beforehand: In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon chili sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper, stirring well.

Step 1: Braising

Turn on the heat and warm the pot, then add the cooking oil and sauté the onion and minced lemongrass until fragrant and golden, then add the mushrooms and stir-fry until tender.

Following that, add 80 ml filtered water and the sauce and braise for 15 minutes over low heat.

Step 2: Finish

Remove the pot from the heat after the sauce has soaked into the mushrooms, sprinkle green onions on top, and serve with steaming rice.
