Easy Hummus Dip
From: Yvette - USA

Serves: 12, Preparation time: 15 min

  • 2 cups of chickpeas, otherwise known as garbanzo beans (canned is fine)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice of two lemons
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil (optional)
  • 2 Tbs. fresh parsley (optional)

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

This is an excellent dip to use in a small or regular Tupperware® Serving Center Set. Place the dip in the center, and pita and other veggies in the compartments. I prefer pita bread cut in triangles, cucumber, celery,
carrots and green or black olives. I have the regular-sized Tupperware® Serving Center Set, in which the lid can hold ice when placed underneath the tray, keeping the veggies chilled.

A healthy dish to take to any potluck or party!
