Fully ripe bananas - 4
Sugar 1/4 cup
oil/margarine 1/4 cup

Peel and slice the banana fruit Heat the oil/margarine (2 tbsp) in
Add the fruit and cook on a slow fire for ten minutes.
When the fruit is well mashed add the sugar and cook till the sugar
melts and becomes thick again.
Add more oil/margarine to prevent it sticking to the pan.
Add powdered cardamom and decorate with roasted cashew nuts.
