In medium saucepan, heat water, add onion and garlic and cook, stirring
often, until onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2-1/4 cups water
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1-1/2 cups mushrooms, chopped
- 3 Tbs. Tamari
- 5 tsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Add mushrooms and cook, stirring often, until they begin to release
Add water, Tamari and cornstarch, dissolved in water.
Stir continuously and simmer until thickened slightly, about 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
