Hummus, Houmos, etc.

4 cups chick peas
1/2 cup tahine
1/3 cup warm water
1/3 cup olive oil
(but you can cut that a bit if you want to avoid the fat)
juice from two or three lemons
4 garlic cloves
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cumin
(a bit more cumin will add to the authentic "Middle Eastern" taste)
pepper to taste
Just put it all in a food processor, sit back, and enjoy the results.
