Tree Broccoli with Almonds and Garlic

Wash broccoli - don't shake off water.
- 60ml water
- 300g fresh broccoli, long stalks trimmed
- 80ml vegetable oil
- 40g blanched almonds, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 6 - 8 cherry tomatoes
- salt and freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Place the broccoli in a shallow, microwaveable dish.

Sauté the onion, garlic and almonds in oil until browned.
Add the broccoli and seasoning to the pan and cook over a high heat
for 1 minute, stirring well.
Arrange the broccoli mixture in a tree shape in a shallow, oblong
dish or serving platter.
Garnish with cherry tomatoes and serve.
