Dwight Yoakum (1956 - )

Dwight David Yoakam (born October 23, 1956) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and actor. Active since the early 1980s, he has recorded more than twenty albums and compilations, and has charted more than thirty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

We are told that Dwight stated in an interview w/Jay Leno on Tonight Show that he is/was vegetarian.

However... the product on the right is/was available in the USA, bringing the following comment on

Country star DWIGHT YOAKAM has launched his own range of frozen foods based on his grandmother's rural Kentucky recipes for delicacies such as Chicken Lickins fried chicken bits. The Grammy Award winner collaborated with Modern Food to bring his grandmother EARLENE's country-style foods, including Boom Boom Shrimp and Lanky Links pork sausages, to the public. The food is marketed under the name Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuit Brand and is available in grocery stores throughout the US.
