Sie ist überzeugt, dass Tierschutz in speziellen Stunden in der Schule erteilt werden muss. Junge Leute, besonders Kinder, so meint sie, sind noch nicht eingenommen von einer materialistischen Gesellschaft. Sie können noch objektiv sein und Mitleid empfinden. Sie sind die Zukunft. So wie sie die Schmerzen leidender Tiere nachempfinden können, werden sie auch das Leiden von Menschen mitfühlen können. Bekannte Persönlichkeiten unterstützten ihre Idee, als sie versuchte, Vertreter des Kultusministeriums für ihr Projekt zu gewinnen. Sie musste lange gegen Vorurteile, Lobbys und verschiedene Wirtschaftszweige kämpfen, doch ihre Entschlossenheit und ihre grosse Liebe zu Tieren halfen ihr, sich schliesslich durchzusetzen. Lehrer bekommen eine 2wöchige Zusatzausbildung an einer pädagogischen Hochschule. Sie lernen, jungen wie erwachsenen Menschen die Idee der Ehrfurcht vor dem Leben zu vermitteln und dass die Schöpfung eine Einheit ist. Die Lektionen in der Schule sind in drei Abschnitte geteilt: Ethik, Information und Lösungen finden (was kann ich tun?) Der Unterricht wird von der 1. bis zur 9. Klasse erteilt und entspricht im Aufbau dem Alter der Schüler. Filme und Dias sind sehr wichtige Hilfsmittel in den Tierschutzstunden. Bis heute sind etwa 500'000 Schüler aus mehr als 6000 Schulen aus ganz Öesterreich auf die schreckliche Situation vieler Tiere in ihrem Land aufmerksam gemacht worden. Besonders wird auf Tierfabriken und Tierversuchslabors hingewiesen, aber auch auf die Situation der Pelztiere, Geflügel, Haustiere usw.
