I'm having a great time at my second World Vegetarian Congress (the first one I attended in 1984, when I had just started to get involved in the vegetarian movement). Now I am past president of the Toronto Vegetarian Association and president of the Vegetarian Union of North America (VUNA) which is the North American regional arm of the IVU. The best thing for me about this congress has been meeting all the great people from all over North America and around the world. Each WVC becomes bigger and better. I'm Founder and Co-President of the Boston Vegetarian Society, and Founder and Director of the Vegetarian Resource Center, which organizes the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival (3500 attendees our first year) and the World Vegetarian Day on the Boston Common. | | I'm a Regional Council member of VUNA (Vegetarian Union of North America), North American regional arm of the IVU, and past Vice President (8 years).
