I, Raymond, am a 44 year old business man who has been vegetarian for the past six years. I deal in tools and household appliances. My main reasons for becoming vegetarain were for spiritual and health reasons. We have two children, Sarah of 21 and Michael of 18, who are both vegetarians, for the past 18 years. Yes you can say that Michael is vegetarian from birth. Besides the congress which will be held in Thailand, I am also looking forward to go , because, I am interested in its culture, and temples, which fascinate me. For this purpose we are staying in Thailand for another few days. If anyone can give us advise regarding where to go and stay after the congress, we will be obliged. My other interests are going to the gym and keeping myself fit, woodwork, metalwork, cars and self growth programms. In fact I have just attended an extremely interesting weekend programm in U.K. called the New Warrior Training Adventure, for Men, organised by The Mankind Project, which I highly recommend to any man who wants to help himself balance the terror of being a man with the wonder of being a man. A truly wonderful experiance. \--- I am Margaret, a 42 year old woman and I have been vegetarian for the past 18 years. The reasons were spiritual. I have always been interested in health, and this increased my reasons as i got on in life. For the past five and a half years i have been running a health food shop, from which I have learned a lot. I have been an active member in our Vegetarian Society in Malta, for the past 4 years, which I enjoy. I have become a Bach Flower Practioner this last year and a half. I enjoy helping people and do my best to support anyone who share the same principles of oneness and harmony. My other interests are meditation and self growth, herbal medicine, astrology, feng shui and new age things. Looking forward to meeting you all. A note on this archive.
