Friday: 8.00pm - "Cooking up a storm" song, comedy and magic with the singing chef

Chef Tunes: The Magical Singing Pied Chef!
Rich Herrington

Chef Tunes: The Magical Singing Chef! is cooking up a storm with silly savoury songs, jelly belly laughs, and some tasty magic tricks. Over the
last year, over 150,000 people around Britain have enjoyed his comedy songs about food and crazy food magic at food festivals, community galas, as well as conventions. If this is your first time tasting his zaniness you are in for a real treat.

The Magical Singin Chef creator, Rich Herrington's music career goes back some 30 years in the U.S and Britain, having written and recorded close to
100 songs. Besides having worked on the same programme with celebrity chefs like Nick Nairn, Paul Rankin, and Lesley Waters, Rich has been featured at major music events like the recent Kirkmichael International Guitar Festival and Bute Folk Festival, trade shows like Foodex Meatex at the Birmingham NEC, and the Dundee, HIghland, Galloway, and Grampian Food Festivals.

Rich, an inventive chef in his own right, developed a special BBQ sauce made with an Islay malt whisky while trading on the McRic Snack Bar in Rothesay. A consumer demand for the sauce required Rich to begin manufacturing his tangy tasty recipe. 'Buteful Sauce', as it is now called, is beginning to become available nationally in Vegan and Vegetarian specialty shops as well on the internet.
