John Morlino is a Humane Educator, Social Worker, and Founder of The Essence of True Humanity Is Compassion (The ETHIC), a nonprofit organization working to create a world where humans and other animals can live free from violence and oppression.

Mr. Morlino is an internationally known writer and speaker on the subject of compassion and a frequent lecturer at schools, universities, and conferences. In 1999 he was recognized as an Outstanding Humane Educator by SPEAK, a National Humane Education speaker's bureau.
