Someone requested a recipe for Brownies, enjoy!
Combine all ingredients except flour.
- 3/4 cup brown rice syrup
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup carob powder
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1-1/2 tsp. Roma, Postum or Cafix (coffee sub.)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Stir until smooth, add flour and mix well.
Pour into 8x8 inch oiled pan and bake 30 minutes @ 350 degrees.
Remove from pan to cool. Frost as desired.
