my dad used to make then from fresh organic vegetables from our
- Tomato, cabbage, cucumber, bell peppers (green is preferred),
basil, and salt.
- You can add your own favorite vegetables and herbs, such as
onion or green onion, cilantro, dill, etc.
Shred cabbage finely - the finer the better;
Cut bell peppers and basil into thin pieces;
Chop cucumber and tomato as you wish.
Mix all ingredients;
Add salt just before serving.
