Cracked Wheat Pilaf

Recipe By: Crock-Pot Cooking (adapted)
Serving Size: 6

  • 2 cups cracked wheat or bulgar
  • 1 medium onion -- chopped
  • 5 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • salt
Combine all ingredients in crockpot; stir well.

Cover and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours
(or on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally).

Per serving: 307 Calories; 4g Fat (11% calories from fat);
11g Protein; 60g Carbohydrate; 2mg Cholesterol; 1387mg Sodium
