Beans a la Reddy

Steam cook the green beans. Decrepitate mustard seeds in melted vegetable
oil along with the dry chili in a skillet. Add the green beans, diced
ginger and garlic.
- 1 lb Green Beans (French Cut, if you like)
- Mustard seeds
- Dry red chilies -one
- Diced ginger
- Diced garlic
- Provencal herbs (seasoning)
- Salt to taste
Mix it well in the skillet with salt to taste and add the provencal
herbs just before turning off the heat. Let it simmer in its own
heat for a while, before serving.
Voila! You have the best of both French and Indian cooking. The
kids would love it and so would your finicky foreign guests!
