Its a north indian dish of Uttranchal. Its nutritious as well
as delicious. for 4
- 1 cup Rice.
- 1 cup black soyabeans.
- 2 onions.
- oil for frying.
soak a cup of rice mixed with a cup of black soyabean for a night.
grid the mixture in mixey, till it becomes a bit granular. Dont
make its paste.
in an iron pan pour 2 table spoon oil. add 2 grated onions, garlic
and ginger paste. when this gets brown, add half teaspon of turmeric,
2 table spoons of coriander powder. then slowly add the rice and
dal mixture into it. add salt to taste. let it cook for for at least
an hour in sim.
serve it with cooked rice.
this dish is good only when cooked in iron pan. let it cook till
its gets thick.
