Adapted from a school recipe.
Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees C.
- 8 ozs Self raising flour
- 4 ozs Soya Margarine
- 4 ozs Unbleached Sugar
- 1 lb Cooking Apples
- Soya Milk
Grease a shallow baking tray.
Rub the margarine into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Peel, core and grate the apples.
Mix the apples and sugar with the mixture, add a little milk to
make a firm but dry mixture.
Spread the mixture in the tray and bake for about half an hour.
Allow to cool, cut into squares and serve as cake.
