This meal will take roughly 10 minutes to prepare. Serves 2.
- 2 ripe pears
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- pinch of grated lemon and orange rind
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Peel, core and halve pears lengthwise. In a medium size saucepan,
combine all the ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer,
covered, for 15 minutes or until pears are tender. This can be served
warm over pancakes or waffles.
